Rose grew up in a close-knit farming community, where the rhythms of everyday life were punctuated by the hum of threshing machines and the camaraderie of family.

 

When Rose was a junior in high school, she crossed paths with Dennis, sparking a love story that endured over six decades. They were married in 1950 surrounded by their closest family and friends.  The tapestry of their marriage was woven with memories of dance halls, movie theaters, and the challenges of military life as Dennis served in the Army. Over the course of 60 years, Rose and Dennis cultivated a legacy rooted in love, raising five daughters amidst the ebb and flow of farm life. Now surrounded by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Rose imparts the wisdom gained from a life rich in experiences and unwavering love for her family.
